Excellent golf jacket. Made by people who understand the DNA of golf. It’s in the ‘A’ for me: together with Arthur & Astro it will keep me 100% dry and make me feel a better golfer.

Hurricane proof

Along the gulf coast of the US you get some heavy tropical rain, and we recently had a hurricane come through with torrential downpours. No, the jacket didn't get tested playing golf in a hurricane, but there was a need to go outside and check things during some of the heavy rain. After tightening up everything possible around the neck, wrists, and bottom of the jacket, and using GG rain pants and wide brimmed hat, I was surprisingly dry; just a very few drops came in over the neck area. The Alister really exceeded my expectations. The jacket fit is adjustable, and Galvin Green seems to run a little small for me, so I went one size up from my "normal" and I'm glad I did; the fit is perfect after adjusting the sides but will allow me to let it out a little for cold weather.
