GALVIN GREEN'S COMMITMENTS
At Galvin Green, sustainability isn’t just a recent endeavour, but a long-standing commitment that’s been integral to our premium golf apparel brand for over a decade. Our journey to adopt a more responsible and ethical approach to fashion is driven by a dedication to making a positive impact on the environment and communities we serve.
Over time, our sustainability initiatives have evolved into five key categories, each representing a core aspect of our identity as a sustainable technical apparel brand within the golf industry. With a focus on company, sourcing, products, relationships, and forward-looking plans, these categories define our comprehensive approach to creating a brand that operates in harmony with both the present and the future.

1. OUR COMPANY
The Galvin Green sustainability mission is centred around a company-wide integrated approach—ensuring all of our departments contribute to moving forward with our goals. These include creating an equitable workplace for all of our staff, making our offices efficient and low impact, and taking a responsible financial approach to our business. Financial responsibility over the long-term is prioritised over shorter-term wins, creating more stability for our staff and stakeholders.
Employee benefits, including a health and wellness subsidy, and other company initiatives contribute to meaningful change, while ensuring our staff can thrive. Our e-commerce team has recently introduced new technology and systems that streamline our processes and significantly reduce our daily impact. With all departments focused on our sustainability goals, we’ve seen positive changes made across the company.
2. OUR SOURCING
A streamlined sourcing strategy holds the potential to reduce carbon emissions, minimise waste, enhance operational efficiency, and expedite product delivery. At Galvin Green, we harness historical data and use forecasting techniques to ensure the precision of our garment production orders, resulting in minimal surplus fabrics and components at the end of a production run. By refraining from over-ordering and applying fabrics to multiple ranges, we actively reduce waste and enhance operational efficiency.
Galvin Green works with a large selection of materials that hold international certifications such as bluesign® and OEKO-TEX®. We also perform sample testing in coordination with our suppliers where globally recognised testing methods such as ISO are used.
The opening of a US-based distribution centre—strategically placed near the Port of Miami and in the same facility as our embroidery operation—has significantly reduced our transport footprint. Shipments from suppliers across the world are frequently combined and shipped either to Europe or the US, and then distributed to B2B and B2C customers in their region.
Our logistics teams use intelligent, tape-free, and recyclable packaging solutions, and we’re in the process of introducing more nominated suppliers for packaging, tags, and other garment components, ensuring consistency across manufacturers and better control over the suppliers used.

3. OUR PRODUCTS
Product durability is one of the most important attributes of Galvin Green clothing and a source of immense pride. As a premium brand, customers rightfully anticipate quality and durability when investing in our apparel, and our mission is to deliver excellent value.
Careful material selection—which has undergone rigorous testing—plus advanced construction techniques are part of our dedication to longevity. Our timeless designs can be worn for years, or even decades, bolstered by our commitment to aftercare. We promote and encourage proper product care and maintain an in-house repair centre to assist customers in extending the lifespan of their garments.
Excellent customer reviews and retailer feedback are a testament to our exceptional customer satisfaction. This conscientious approach towards product durability contributes to minimising impact and bringing value to customers.
4. OUR RELATIONSHIPS
Establishing long-lasting, transparent relationships is a priority at Galvin Green. Recognising the costs and setbacks of supplier and staff turnover, we take pride in nurturing strong connections with all stakeholders.
We foster honest relationships with our suppliers, many of whom have grown with us over the years. Supplier agreements and a mandatory code of conduct ensure they meet our sustainability goals. Our agreement now includes a Restricted Substances List, prohibiting banned or unsafe chemicals, while regular evaluations help us assess capacity and potential production changes. Social audits are conducted upon request, ensuring compliance with local laws and our Code of Conduct.
As members of Textilimportörerna, TEKO, and the ChemAct Network, we stay informed on industry regulations and connect with other apparel businesses. Partnerships like the GEO Foundation reflect our commitment to sustainability in golf, while relationships with the PGA of Germany, Sweden, and Denmark reinforce our position as a trusted apparel brand for professionals.
We support retailers throughout the selling season with materials and resources to improve sell-through, collaborating on special or exclusive products tailored to their audiences.
Customer satisfaction is at the heart of what we do, reflected in high product reviews, thank-you letters, and five-star ratings. Feedback reassures us that we’ve built strong relationships by delivering products and buying experiences that truly impress.

5. OUR FUTURE
As both the brand and the company evolve, Galvin Green remains steadfast in its commitment to sustainability and innovation. In recent years, we’ve made significant progress and introduced ambitious goals aimed at enhancing transparency, reducing environmental impact, and improving the customer experience. From mapping out our garment components and expanding our list of nominated suppliers, to identifying and implementing key UN Global Goals, we’ve been focused on driving positive change throughout our supply chain. Ongoing projects to introduce new materials, phase out harmful substances, and optimise our distribution are key initiatives aimed at building a more sustainable and responsible future.
Every action counts.
