DRYVR™ is Galvin Green’s 100% waterproof technology, ensuring your rain gear keeps you dry. Incorporating some of the world’s best known and most reliable waterproof materials, a DRYVR™ protective outer layer gives you full protection from the rain. 

GORE-TEX is a patented type of waterproof fabric made with a variant of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) known as expanded PTFE (ePTFE). As one of the first flexible waterproof fabrics invented, GORE-TEX is a highly popular waterproofing material.

COMPARE DIFFERENT GORE-TEX FABRICS

Pertex Shield stretch garments have a hydrophilic PU membrane, designed to attract and retain water molecules due to the membrane’s “water-loving” nature. This 3-layer fabric is softer and more stretchy, and creates a superior next-to-skin comfort with a ‘slide’n’glide’ effect to reduce friction with garments worn underneath, and guarantees 100% waterproofness. Pertex® fabrics are bluesign® approved and also PFAS-free, making them an environmentally friendly choice for you to wear, use and rely on – year after year. 

A hydrophilic PU membrane due to its 'water-loving' properties, occasionally cause a slight puckering effect on the surface of the material, particularly on lighter-coloured garments, when exposed to heavy moisture. Please rest assured, this is not a fabric defect, and the material will return to its smooth texture once fully dry.

We’ve chosen to work with Pertex® since they have a similar sustainable agenda as Galvin Green does. They place a big focus on reused/recyclable materials and share the same vision. With that being said, you should remain dry; if that's not the case and you suspect they are leaking, please submit an online claim, and we'll arrange for their return for inspection.

The DRYVR™ rain gear range features apparel made from GORE-TEX and Pertex® materials. Both the GORE-TEX and Pertex® materials have their benefits. No single material is 100% perfect for everything, so we will choose the best material suited to each style.

Galvin Green’s INTERFACE-1™ range is a collection of windproof clothing designed to provide comfort in the most common golf conditions. The fabric is 100% windproof and water resistant, ensuring it keeps you warm and dry in light rain. These lightweight shell layers are made from soft, stretchy materials that are highly breathable. INTERFACE-1™ garments are available in three ratings — warming effect #1, #2, and #3 and are designed to be layered with base layers, shirts, mid layers, and can even be worn underneath a waterproof jacket.

Galvin Green’s INSULA™ range is a collection of warming mid layers designed to be worn underneath your outerwear, or as light jackets and sweaters. The INSULA™ material provides thermal protection while being breathable, soft, and stretchy. Available in three ratings — warming effect #1, #2, and #3, an INSULA™ mid layer can provide different comfort levels, from a light layer for a warm evening, or a warming sweater for cold temperatures.

WASH

Machine wash on a warm permanent press cycle (105°F/40°C) using a small amount of liquid detergent. Rinse twice, and minimize spinning to reduce creasing. Don’t use powder detergents, fabric softeners, stain removers, or bleach. Don’t wash your waterproofs with heavily soiled clothing.

DRY*

Line dry your garment, or tumble dry it on a warm, gentle cycle. Tumble drying will reactivate the durable water-repellent (DWR) treatment on the outer fabric. You can do this anytime you notice the water repellency needs a boost.

DRY CLEAN*

We recommend home laundering. If professional dry cleaning is necessary, request that the cleaner use clear distilled hydrocarbon solvent for rinsing, and then spray DWR on the garment’s outer fabric before drying.

IRON*

If you can’t tumble dry to reactivate the DWR, iron the dried garment on a gentle setting (warm, no steam) by placing a towel or cloth between the garment and the iron.

BLEACH

Do not use any chlorine-based bleaches as they will damage the product.

WATER REPELLENT TREATMENT*

If water repellency can no longer be reactivated by washing and drying, you’ll need to reapply a durable water repellent (DWR). Be sure to always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for reapplication — and don’t forget to activate it by following our instructions for tumble drying or ironing.

An email confirmation is sent automatically to the email address you provide at checkout. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive it within a few minutes. If you still didn't get it, please reach out to our customer support for further assistance.

The amount you see at checkout is the final cost. Galvin Green includes or covers any applicable taxes and fees, ensuring there are no additional charges for our customers.

Returns, Exchanges & Claims

If you aren’t completely satisfied with your product, we will gladly offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a refund, you must initiate the return within 30 days of receiving your item. Please note shipping fees will not be refunded.

Returned items must be unused and in new condition; this also applies to the packaging and hang tags.

We are now using a new platform to handle returns, exchanges, and claims. Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 30 days of receiving your item.

Your exchange item will be shipped when your return has been received and processed.

Returns are currently free.

If you have not received your return label by email, please check your spam or promotions folders. If the label is not there, please contact customersupport@galvingreen.com.

After printing the return label, please take your package to the designated access point of the chosen courier.

If your item is damaged or faulty, it may be eligible for repair or replacement as part of our warranty program. In order to initiate a claim, visit galvingreen.returnado.com

Please note all claims must be accompanied by a photo of the damaged area or the fault, along with a brief explanation. Your claim will be reviewed and you will be contacted with the next steps.

Payment & Invoice

Your credit card company may place a hold on the funds for a few days, following a transaction or an attempted transaction. This should be removed from your account within a few days. 

Refunds can take up to 10 business days to show on your account. If you have received a refund notification from us, but the funds have not shown up on your account, we ask that you contact your credit card company

If your payment is not going through, please review the following steps:

1. Make sure that you have chosen the correct country from where you are purchasing.

2.  Double-check that you have filled in all details correctly in the checkout. The postal code / zip code must match the one associated with your credit card, even if it is not the same as the shipping address.

3.  Try another web browser or try to clear your search history/cache/web cookies.

4.  Contact your bank and check if your credit card is available for foreign purchases. If the problem persists it may be because you are using an old version of the web browser which is not safe nor compatible with modern websites. For a smoother checkout experience, please install a newer browser.

We accept the following payment types: Visa, Mastercard, American Express through Shopify Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Delivery & Freight

We handle all orders from Monday through Friday, from 07:00 to 14:00 CET. The items are shipped immediately from our warehouse in Växjö, Sweden. Orders that arrive between Friday and Sunday or on public holidays will be processed on the following Monday, or on the next working day.

Once shipped, standard shipping takes 4-6 business days and express shipping takes 1-3 business days. Please note that we have no control over delays due to customs clearance.

The same day your order is shipped, you will receive a delivery confirmation by email, containing a link to the carrier’s website where you can track the delivery. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive the tracking information within a few days.

Please check your ordered items immediately on delivery and let us know within 7 days in the unlikely event that something is missing or wrong.

Joining is easy and free! Simply create an account on our website, and you’ll automatically be enrolled in the Birdie tier. Start earning points immediately on all eligible purchases.

Redeem your points directly at checkout. Points can be redeemed for store credits, allowing you to apply them to future purchases. The program is based on our base currency, which is USD. If your purchase is made in a different currency, the store credits will be converted from USD at the prevailing exchange rate before points are applied.

Your tier level is based on your annual spend, based on the past 12 months:

  • Birdie: Free to join.
  • Eagle: Spend $500 annually.
  • Albatross: Spend $1,000 annually.

Log into your account at GalvinGreen.com and visit the Ace Club page. Your points balance will be displayed on your account page and during the checkout process, as well as any benefits available to your current tier.

Points will expire after a 24 month period.

Albatross members have access to VIP customer support. Simply log in to your account and visit the Ace Club page where you will find the VIP customer support email address.

Earn additional points by subscribing to our newsletter, referring friends, and participating in promotional weekends where you can earn double points.

Points earned on returned items will be deducted from your account balance.

Birthday bonus points will be automatically added to your account on your birthday based on your current tier level. To be eligible for the birthday bonus, members must provide their birthday information in their account settings at least 30 days prior to their birthday. You can enter your birthday on the Ace Club page.

You cannot use both points and a discount code on the same order. Only one can be applied at a time. However, you can use your points to purchase products that have a discounted price.
