Not as warm as the Mizuno it is replacing
My golf partners have been raving about their Galvin Green rain wear for several years. I had an old Mizuno jacket that was amazing - both in terms of being waterproof and providing warmth on those cool/cold Canadian autumn days. I haven't worn it in a driving rain yet, so I can't comment on the protection from the rain. I love the fit of the Axley and it does provide some protection from the wind, but the notion that the inner mesh somehow traps warm air is questionable. I'm okay with wearing a thermal base layer underneath it, so four stars out of five.
