Like all of Galvin Green’s rain gear, this fabric is waterproof, windproof, lightweight, and breathable. The woven polyester face has a microgrid structure which results in a smooth hand feel and matte finish, and the hydrophilic membrane better handles condensation issues than most waterproof materials. This hooded parka is waterproof, windproof, and lightweight - making it easy to wear in the city, during travel, or on the move. The 100% recycled fabric combines a high-tech waterproof face fabric with a highly breathable membrane, designed to be incredibly light, soft, and quiet. Fantastic Raincoat

Bought this coat to take on a trip.

We encountered a lot of rainy cool days and this coat did not let me down!

-light and easy to stuff in my backpack

-roomy enough to wear a thin vest and thin wool layers underneath

-did not leak

-lots of useful pockets to keep important items dry. Passport, camera, thin gloves, etc

-the hood worked very well. So easy to adjust

- and of course stylish

Perfect!

Perfect fit, perfect function! Wore it out while it was pouring down and it really was as good as promised. No umbrella needed. Very nice with the soft fabric inside the pockets too.
